About the Present Pilgrims

Pilgrimage to Canterbury.

Three hardy souls have volunteered to walk from our St Thomas’s Church to the shrine of St Thomas in Canterbury Cathedral – only 180 or so miles!

We estimate that it might take 10 days doing between 13 and 19 miles each day from Sunday 3rd August – Wednesday 13th August 2014

Please help us by pledging money to help us on our way – all money raised goes to The Friends, there is no administration cost.
You are most welcome to join us in our training walks most weekends and indeed to do a morning / afternoon or all day with us on the Pilgrimage.
See The Route page for more details of how you can join us.

So who ‘volunteered’ for this? Rev’d Jonathan Plows, Associate Priest at St Thomas’s Church, Rhona Bennett and her godmother Fi Green – that’s who.

Why? To raise money for The Friends and to have an adventure.
